Don't Let It Fool You...

April is here and the sun has come out at last! Both of my little ones have been out enjoying the garden this week. My daughter loves playing with her sand, chasing the cat with twigs and my baby boy shovels so much mud in his mouth I'm surprised not to see a huge worm cast in his nappy every morning. But just because its the first nice few days we've seen for a while, don't be fooled into thinking that 'the sun isn't strong this time of year'! Use plenty of suncream on your babies skin when outdoors. I took my daughter for a short walk when she was just a few months old and had her in the baby sling. We only went out for 15 minutes but when we got back home her little cheeks were bright pink! Thankfully, she was none the worse for it but I felt awful. Now I always remember that suncream is not just for the summer.
